Gradisca d’Isonzo is located in the Friuli plane, between the Collio and the Isonzo Karst regions, a few kilometres from the Slovene border. This area was occupied by different populations throughout history and has inherited their traditions and habits. These traditions are apparent also in the local food and wine products.
